Spica is a 5 member girl group under B2M entertainment, and I've been a fan since their "Russian Roulette" days. Their focus are on vocals, because lets face it, they're far better than even some well known idols out there. Their dance? Pretty good if you ask me. Of course it's nothing compared to power dance groups like 2PM or any of those other beastly dancers, but I must say, I'm well impressed with this rookie group. Although, I don't think they'd be getting the rookie's award this year. A shame, really. They're just not popular enough, and I just wish more people will realise their talent soon, because it really is outstanding.

Their new song is out and titled "I'll be there". Many people are criticizing it saying it resembles the Spice Girls too much. Yes, I agree that it is more 90s pop then other material that are released out there today, but really, all just because a 90s pop number is released in the 21st century doesn't instantly make it Spice Girls. Some people need to wake up.

These girls are awesome. Period. I don't even need to say much. Just watch these videos, and you'll know what I mean. Raw talent doesn't need to be fished out by advertising, it should be swarmed the moment it's released.

Choreo ver. :

Not bad for a vocal group right? Hooked? Check out their other songs Russian Roulette as well as Painkiller.

Here's the run down of members for those who are interested:

Kim Boa is the leader of SPICA and she is the second oldest, the lead vocalist of the group, as well as a rapper. Ok, this chick is seriously some big stuff. She used to train in LOEN entertainment alongside IU which is why there were articles on the net about how Boa talked about how she got embarrassed when IU patted her ass in public after their debut. By right, IU is her Sunbae in terms of debut. She was also KARA's, Infinite's, and Rainbow's vocal trainer. Sorry, that deserved all types of highlighting. er, to have trained well known idols? Impressive. I have this theory about her lungs. You see, when she sings, it's like, how the hell do you breathe in between her long notes, therefore I've come to a conclusion that her lungs are in fact, secretly, oxygen tanks.
Ok, here's her cover of Rihanna's take a bow. This is just a fraction of what she can pull off.

Ok, I know her hair is a little funky, but a little unique-ness goes a long way right?

Next up,

Kim Bo Hyun is the Maknae as well as the Main vocalist of this group. It was stated that she was suppose to debut with 2NE1, but I guess it didn't work out. I always wondered how people that were suppose to debut with now successful groups feel like. Would they feel hatred and regret, or would they be happy for their friends/accomplices? It was also reported she was an ex trainee of both YG and JYP. oohhh, don't know what happened there. Maybe individual differences? I can understand if a totally weird concept was forced on them, and she didn't like it. Something like "Bo Beep" would've made me walk out the door. I know it was a hit and everything, but I wouldn't be caught dead doing those moves on stage. I mean, you don't train for all those years just to wear paw gloves and act cute on stage.

Proceeding on...

Yang JiWon is the face, vocalist and Main dancer of the group. This girl also has some pretty damn interesting background as well. She was originally a member of "Five Girls" which didn't end up debuting, and consisted of G.Na, After School's UEE, Secret's Hyosung as well as Wonder Girl's Yubin. And check this, she was a member of T-ara, but because of  "creative differences", she left the group before it debuted. Good thing you did, you won't have to put up with KKS and his shit ideas.

Rappin it?

Main Rapper and Vocalist of the group (I swear, everyone in the group can actually legit sing well, even the rapper) is Park Joo Hyun. She was featured in label mate Heo Young Saeng music video and also performed the rapping bits on some live stages. Oh, and she's the oldest. Rachee: "She is also going out with Shinhwa's JUNJIN! D:

Last but not least,

Park NaRae is the lead dancer as well as a vocalist. She was in the first season of superstar K.

Since this post has been pretty lengthy, I'll stop here and sign off with a nicely harmonised videos of them singing.
