I was looking through piano covers the whole day on Saturday and I just fell in love with practically all of them. It made me want to play the piano again, and it's quite sad that there was one point in my life where I hated it so much. I think the main reason was people constantly nagging me to practice for my exams, and I just didn't think it was something that was necessary to do. Playing to pass an exam I mean.

Upon hearing these k-pop covers however, I'm itching to play again, and get my hands on some score sheets. These will be definitely used while I'm doing my work!

Taeyeon's Closer:

T-ara's Day and Night:

 Secret's Poison:

KARA's Pandora:

I'm going to make my sister play this with me! hahaha it's going to be so funny trying to learn it.

And last, I sign off with a video that's not a piano cover, but a little stage duet of SHINee's Taemin and IU I found on my surf on youtube.

After all that massive fuss about if T-ara will be allowed to appear on music shows as well as their supposed "boo-ing" scene at Jeju Stage, they've finally pulled through and came in 6th in the most recent Music bank and went for number 1 on Mcountdown! I don't know if they'll win, but I'm certainly hoping they do!

There was a period where people were going on about how their stage in Jeju was embarrassing because people turned off their glowsticks and didn't cheer for them. After they finished their stage, the crowd boo-ed them and some of them were calling out for Hwayoung. Personally when I watched fancams of it, I didn't hear people shouting out Hwayoung, and there were actually people clapping at the end. I guess it's not exactly screaming and shouting and clapping really loudly, but maybe the fancam didn't capture everything. Who knows. Here's the video:

Sounds normal ehh? It reminded netizens a lot of the "Black Ocean" that happened to SNSD a couple of years back after their debut. Different fandoms were against them and at one stage at dream concert, if I'm not mistaken, everyone turned off their glowsticks and kept completely quiet throughout the whole performance. I don't exactly know the full story, but people were really anti SNSD

The crowd while SNSD performing and the crowd after chanting...god knows what.

You can see there's only one patch of glowsticks lighted up. It scares me how insensitive some fandoms can be and how difficult it is to perform when the crowd if shouting out for BigBang and TVXQ. Here's one of the songs they performed that night.

It's horrible really, what people can do to you if they don't like you. Bottom line is, don't mess with fandoms. ever.

T-ara has come out with their "sequel" song to Day by Day, and I must say, I'm loving it. Maybe because it's so catchy, and has like a nice pop tune to it. This isn't going to be a long post, but I was just going to say, regardless of gazillions of rumours of bullying, and all that crap that has happened over the past few months, I still support T-ara. For their music that is. I don't know how I would feel about their own personal selves, but I'm a fan of their music, and that should be sufficient enough for me to support them right?

The proper rant review will be up in a couple of days (hopefully)

Davichi and 2AM singing 2AM's confession of a friend and Davichi's 8282

2AM's Jokwon, Kim Jong Guk, SNSD's Taeyeon, a lady that has an amazing voice I don't know her name sorry, CNBLUE's Yonghwa, SNSD's Jessica, singing Josh Groban's (I think) You Raise Me Up.

SNSD singing Abba's dancing queen.

One of the best korean songs ever. In my opinion that is. I first heard it through Dream High season 1 when Eunjung and Suzy's character auditions for the entrance to that high prestigious music school. It was soooo nice, and I got hooked instantly. Here is Davichi's version of it, and like my friend Hye Ju says, these two can really belt out those notes pretty much perfectly.

Here's a cast rendition of the song, sung by JYP, IU, Kim Soo Hyun, Taecyeon, Suzy, Eunjung, Wooyoung and the little girl I don't know the name of.

Here's the cut from Dream High season 1! Apparently the last bit that Suzy did was dubbed by an actual opera singer. But who knows? she might be able to sing that well in real life.

I'm a total noob when it comes to harmonising, but I absolutely love listening to people harmonise. I really want to learn how to though!

When the articles of the whole bullying thing and how KKS (Who I agree, is a huge dickhead) will be announcing some IMPORTANT news came out, I thought it was some build-up to their new follow up single cause WHO EXPECTED THIS TO HAPPEN?

No prior news AT ALL about them not getting along and new members being recently added, I thought it would be stupid for them to kick anyone out. And they did BECAUSE KKS IS TERRIBLE AT MANAGING HIS COMPANY. Why is he even CEO I don't know.

My thoughts are quite similar to Nazlin's. Basically
1) KKS is a terrible CEO and the company is doing a FANTASTIC job destroying T-ara's future.
2) Groups should never EVER add new members. Sometimes I don't even like the idea of 'replacing' members.
3) I may seem like some heartless bitch girl who doesn't pity Hwayoung for what happened but look, I am not going to take sides in this whole business because we, other than people in Core Contents Entertainment and T-ara members, will never know what EXACTLY happened. I'm not going to boycott T-ara either. As long as they make songs I like, I'll listen cause it is quite unfair if they MAY not be what some people think they are and honestly, I don't really care (Okay when I say this I don't mean I support bullies because I DO NOT.) cause things will get blown out of context and like I said before and I will say again, WE WILL NEVER KNOW WHAT WENT DOWN.

So what do you guys think about this issue?

It's been all over the Kpop news, and it's been said to have moved off "Entertainment News" onto "General News" over there in Korea. How true that is, I will never know, however it does seem plausible. Having rumours of bullying circling around here and there surely would get a lot of parent's attention.

(For everyone who isn't aware of the situation, you can check it out here)

Now here's my take on the whole situation (taking into consideration that this is completely my opinion only, and hopefully people will take it with a pinch of salt)

First of all, there is very poor management from CCM (core contents media). In addition to that, a dick head of a CEO. In my opinion this would never have gotten out to the public if they had managed the girls better. In regards to the account that was made public supposedly by an ex back up dancer of T-ara just makes the whole bullying situation seem more realistic. However again, no one really knows whether this person that has written that account was really an ex back up dancer. News came out that KKS (dickhead CEO) had released a statement saying it was fabricated and CCM has in fact made police reports and ivestigations were set up, and they found the person. A few hours later, BAM! Seoul police releases statement saying they didn't do a single thing and had made no such investigation. Proof #1 why KKS is such a dickhead. Making stories up and releasing it as a proper statement to the public is NOT A GOOD IDEA. Don't misjudge and misuse the police force please.

Secondly, this whole twitter business, some people are for it, some people are against, it's been a havoc. I'm on neither side. Although it does seem like they are bullying Hwayoung, I don't think people can make assumptions based simply on twitter remarks. So netizens out there hating on T-ara because of their tweets, please calm the fck down.

I don't think this whole thing would've started if they didn't take in Hwayound in the first place. I understand groups like AfterSchool who add members after some leave because yes, they need replacements for future performances. But this, this, dear readers, puzzles me. They started off as 6. So why add another member when they're already on their way up? Is it to help them to get there faster? I don't think CCM had thought it through enough because how would the girls actually feel having another member after being together for so long, and having worked their asses off together, only to have another member come in, and just enjoy a free ride? I'm not hating on Hwayoung, but generally speaking, if you're in a group, a girl group at that, if you were in their shoes, you would be sensitive about it too wouldn't you? The whole idea was a sour one to begin with and that's what I think made this whole thing turn into a storm.

Then a few months later, CCM decides to add 2 additional members. One at a time. First one has debuted,  and although she seems to have a lot to offer, it puzzles me even further why they can't train their other members such as Qri and Boram to be even better. They hardly get any lines, and all they do is dance and act pretty. I don't know if it's a form of strategy, but if it is, I don't think it's going so well. I'm sure both Qri and Boram fans are still firing at CCM for giving them a sentence each in their songs. They wanted to improve T-ara, they wanted them to go further, to gain more popularity. Don't add in new members that are more skilled than your original members. Don't abandon your original members, try spending more money on training staff on them rather than getting a whole new person (or 2).

Ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous. I don't even know where I stand anymore as a "fan"

It has been nearly a month since we had this blog! *sprinkles confetti* So like we said before, we will post up what we loved (or not) during the month of July with links to it/things related to it at the tabs above! Click it, click it!

Video: Psy - Gangnam Style

How often do you see dancing kids, grooving horses, fat guys in sauna, explosions, disco bus, Yoo Jaesuk, Noh Hongchul, Hyuna and EHHHHHHH SEXY LADEH(s) in ONE videos? Mm, seldom. Now don't bother us while we dance to this. OP OP OP OP OPPA GANGNAM STYLE!

Song: Beast - Midnight
This song sounded better than Beautiful Night which was their title song for their latest album to be honest. Super catchy!

Drama: Big
Okay before we continue, it was Rachel's favourite, UNTIL THE LAST 2 EPISODES. This drama was really interesting and the whole body switch (that was so overdone) was done pretty well should we say. Wasn't too crazy with the fantasy side. Rachel was excited to see how the end would be but we will leave it to you to decide whether they did it well.

Dish: Japchae
Nazlin is currently fasting so I shall be the one commenting on this. I actually JUST tried this today and I totally loved it so K FOOD OF THE MONTH (maybe cause this is the only korean dish I had this month :3)

Hottie: Gong Yoo
Rachel would love to keep Simon in this category forever but she will not be so selfish. For a 33 year old man, he sure is hot. And he was so lovable in Big. Oh and ABS.

News: T-ara Controversy
OOH we were so sure Nichkhun's whole DUI case would definitely be the the news of the month but looks like the whole controversy T-ara stirred up these few days ago deserved this spot more! Oo catty!

Having watched Dream High season 1, Dream High2 seemed a little boring. The actors were alright, except the script was a little predictable. There were some favourite songs of mine in Dream High and here they are!

1. Only Hope-Suzy(Miss A) (cover of Mandy Moore's)

2. Tell Me Your Wish--Suzy (Miss A), IU, Taecyeon (2PM) and Kim Soo Hyun (cover of SNSD's)
and 3. A part of this dream--Eunjung (T-ara), Taecyeon (2PM), IU, Wooyoung (2PM)

4. Waiting--IU

5.A goose's dream--EunJung (T-ara) and Suzy (Miss A)

6. Someday--IU

That's probably all my favourite songs/covers from Dream High Season 1. There were other nice ones as well, but these 6 kind of were the best ones. If you watched both seasons of Dream High, which did you like better? comment! haha no one ever comments =.=
Well, that's it for now!
