Video: Catch Me - TVXQ
Okay Rachee here just for a quick..speech. I don't care if they are in a box. It's a nice box. How can you not like those shards coming out from the ground they were standing on? Oooh straight lines and sharp edges....okay better not go off topic now. AND AND let's not forget that milk puddle. Come on, that's not a box anymore is it? Now that that's out, let's just say we love the use of accessories in this video. Those arm armors as we would like to call them were really quite nicely used especially during the parts where they all link arms. Woooo dragonnnnnnn pahwah!
Song: '84 the Original - Glen Check
Yes yes me again of course as you can judge from the song choice. Since the 2 songs we both love this month (Catch Me and Stop Girl) were included in different categories....I shall be selfish and take this for myself hehe. And yes again I know this song was mentioned here but the one I'm including in this category is the "original" version......so '84 was not the original one? But yes I like this version better for some reason. What do you guys think? Which one do you prefer?
*I do apologize for the tumblr's url but that is the only place I can find the audio of it.*
Drama: Reply 1997
ANNNNNND it's me again...how awksies is this. Naz hasn't been catching up on dramas cause she is being a hardworking girl. Well I stopped too okay. I started watching this during summer and then stopped when school started and ended up just reading the recaps ): But hey from the episodes I watched before I stopped, I must say the acting is not bad considering how this is Eunji's first drama AND being the main (MAN I LOVE THIS GIRL! SHE'S FEISTYY!) and also Seo Inguk's first main role. What I really love is the plot as it revolves around the lives 6 high school friends, the crazy fan culture at that time and WHO'S THE BABY'S DADDY!
Dance: Stop Girl - Ukiss
Naz here! Finally, Ukiss is out with a new song, and I have to say, I'm loving both the song and dance! The dance definitely deserves something big. Let's just give a huge round of applause to the choreographers for coming up with this genius choreo. Proves you don't need big American names behind all this to get a good outcome. The structure of it all is splendid from the beginning where Kiseop gets his limelight (oh? did I just hear Rach squeal? I think I did! Rachee: I'VE WAITED TOO LONG FOR THIS!) and does a full dance while other members file in after him. The addition of girl back up dancers is also a very nice change to the stage. It gives a slightly different but pleasing vibe to the whole song, and I really hope that they'll get far with this one! Already searching up covers to learn the dance! Love love love.
Hottie: Lee Min Woo
Ok, Naz again. Normally, I have to be honest with you guys here, I haven't really thought any one was hot that much since my Taemin days, but upon watching Kkok Kkok Tour as well as Shinhwa's broadcast featuring SHINee (read my post on it), I totally fell for Min Woo. Fine, he doesn't fit my height criteria, but no one's perfect right? right?!!??! (hypocrite talking here, but wtv) His smile is just NGAWWWW and he's funny too! Well, I think if I was to continue watching episodes of Shinhwa's broadcast, I would eventually fall for all of them (Eric is next on the list) Can I just say, that everyone who's reading this HAS to click this link right HERE. You'll know why once you've watched it. Loving it.

G-Dragon in 3 days with his mini album and TVXQ coming back later this month, the rest of September will be a battle between the boys while us fan girls celebrate!
October will be the months for the girls with 2NE1 and Girls' Generation planning on coming back.
After the big guys, it's rookies' time! Exo will be coming back with a full length album this time (GIVE ME MY LADY ALREADY! I'VE BEEN YEARNING FOR IT SINCE THAT TEASER!) and YG will be releasing Kpop Star SuPearls and a new girl group who are apparently "YG's Girls Generation"!
Side note, Glen Check will also be releasing their new EP under the title "Cliché" at the end of this month! TOO MUCH TO HANDLE AHHHHHHHH!

Inspired by their album artwork and visual from their performances. Didn't turn out too well cause paper don't really make the best nail 'stickers'. Gotta find an alternative but for now, this will do!

So yeah, now that I finally got that out of my system, I shall officially introduce you to my favourite Korean indie band ever, Glen Check.
The first time I came across them was when I heard of Disco Elevator last year? I don't really remember. It didn't really leave an impression because...I don't know I just didn't like it as much. It was just like "Oh they have indie bands like this in Korea? Cool!" and I kinda forgot about it :P Don't get me wrong, I did like the bass (I love bass.....yeah ♥) and the beat but it JUST didn't grow onto me. So after that it slipped out of my mind and I didn't hear about them until March this year when Haute Couture came out and Simon and Martina of eatyoukimchi included French Virgin Party and Battaile in their K-Crunch Indie Playlist.
Warning: If you are sensitive to flashing lights, don't watch this video.
After I heard French Virgin Party, I was INSTANTLY hooked. Maybe it was the beat. Maybe it was the bass. Maybe it was the cowbells. Maybe it was the funkiness of it. I just loved it. Everytime I listen to it, I feel like dancing around in my room. So I got hold of Haute Couture online and went through the whole thing. I rarely ever love ALL the songs in an album but for this, I did. I can't really choose a favourite in the album cause I kinda go crazy about one song for a period of time, then go crazy about another one. First it was French Virgin Party.
Then I moved on to replaying Naked Sun over and over again for weeks. This video makes me wanna attend one of their gigs. I loved the beginning when the ? and ! appeared with the beat. I loved it when the electric guitar entered. I loved the clapping beat. And my favourite part of the song? 2:38 mark. I love that part so so much. If I missed the beginning of it, I would actually go back just to listen to it again. Sometimes when I listen to this song, it kinda gives me the feeling that I'm a spy..on an enemy's island...in action. Yeah....I'm so strange. MOVING ON!
I got into the Racket phase after Naked Sun. This song has a totally different feel compared to Naked Sun. It is less beat heavy? Less hardcore. But still good enough to make me bob my head to the beat. I love the chorus loads even though they said they came up with it when the drummer Jeon-Yeol (who I think left. I don't know why because I can't read the cyworld post they posted about this matter cause I can't enter and I can't understand what they want me to do to be able to access it since it's all in Korean) started saying the Korean vowels (ee ah ae) when he was drunk. How interesting. I love the video too!

Now I'm currently into Au Revoir. This song is also totally different in terms of style compared to the last three songs I've mentioned. This is what I love about this album. It's a mixture of everything. This song is more on the electronic side. And it's in FRENCH! Though I can't understand shit even after that 3 months of French in the beginning of year 8.
Here is the tracklist for Haute Couture if you would like to check out the rest of the album:
1. Naked Sun
2. Vogue Boys and Girls
3. French Virgin Party
4. The Flashback
5. Rebellion
6. Battaille!
7. Au Revoir
8. Concorde
9. 60's Concorde
10. Racket
11. Vivid (Owl City fans may like this!)
I hope you guys like this album as much as I did! I'm going to go on a hunt for this album when I'm in Korea next month (I actually don't know if they even sell physical copies....Gonna go ask June-one on Facebook. That's right, I have him on Facebook. *End of fangirling*). But like June-One said (Or what MTViggy translated) "If you like it, listen to it. If you don't, then fuck off."
-Rachee
